Product Description
No two bulk handling operations are identical. The product density, the filling equipment, the discharge mechanism, the storage environment, the transport method, the electrostatic classification, the hygiene requirements, and the branding needs all vary — and a standard off-the-shelf FIBC bag will never be the optimal solution for every combination. Custom FIBC bags exist for exactly this reason: to give operations the performance, safety, and efficiency they cannot achieve with catalogue bags.
At Tam Tam Packaging, custom FIBC design and manufacture is not a premium service — it is our core business. Every bag we produce is made to a specification. Whether you need a bespoke size, an unusual discharge mechanism, a specific electrostatic classification, a unique liner configuration, or a brand-printed bag that meets the visual standards of a global retail chain, our engineering and production team works with you from drawing to dispatch to deliver a bag that is built precisely for your application.
Our Custom FIBC Process — From Enquiry to Dispatch
- Enquiry & Specification
Share your product details, handling requirements, SWL, preferred construction, and any certification needs. Our technical team will ask the right questions to build a complete specification.
- Engineering Review
We review your specification against ISO 21898 requirements and our production capabilities. If standard components can be adapted, we advise — if a bespoke solution is needed, we design it.
- Quotation
You receive a detailed quotation within 24–48 hours covering bag unit price, tooling costs (if any), MOQ, lead time, and included documentation.
- Sample Production
For new specifications, we produce a pre-production sample for your review and approval. No changes are made to the production run until you confirm the sample.
- Production & QC
Full production run is manufactured under our ISO 9001 QC system, with SGS inspection available. All certification documentation is prepared during this phase.
- Dispatch & Documentation
Bags are shipped with full documentation: SGS test report, ISO 21898 conformity declaration, COA, and any application-specific certificates requested.
Why Choose This Bag?
- Bespoke sizes from 250 kg to 4,000 kg SWL — outside the standard catalogue range, we engineer to your requirement
- Any top/bottom combination: spout, open, duffle, conical, asymmetric discharge — no limitation on configuration
- All four FIBC electrostatic types (A, B, C, D) available in custom constructions and dimensions
- Custom liner integration — PE, PE/AL foil, antistatic, or conductive liners factory-fitted to your specification
- Full brand printing up to 10 colours on BOPP lamination — retail-quality graphics on any bag size
| 💡 BUYER TIP: The most cost-effective time to get your bag specification right is before the first production run — not after. Invest 30 minutes in a technical call with our team at the specification stage, and you will avoid the delays, costs, and frustrations of re-sampling due to an incorrect spec. |
Typical Applications Industries
- Process industries with unique bag size requirements dictated by vessel, silo, or conveyor geometry
- Hazardous material handling requiring specific electrostatic classification (Type C or D) in custom dimensions
- Pharmaceutical and food manufacturers requiring bespoke liner configurations for contamination control
- Retailers and brand owners requiring custom printing to exact brand standards on bulk packaging
- Any application where standard catalogue bags compromise safety, efficiency, or compliance

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What information do I need to provide to get a custom FIBC quotation?
To generate an accurate quotation, we need: (1) product name and bulk density, (2) target SWL and safety factor, (3) preferred construction style (if known), (4) top and bottom configuration needed, (5) any electrostatic classification requirements, (6) liner requirements (if any), (7) printing requirements (colours, artwork format), (8) target quantity and delivery schedule, and (9) any certification or documentation requirements.
Q2: Can you manufacture FIBC bags larger than the standard 1,000 kg or 2,000 kg range?
Yes. We manufacture custom FIBC bags up to 4,000 kg SWL for heavy industrial applications. These large-format bags require bespoke engineering, including higher GSM fabric, reinforced loop construction, and safety factor verification through load testing.
Q3: Can you match a competitor’s bag specification exactly?
Yes. Provide a sample of your current bag, its specification sheet, or both, and our engineering team will reverse-engineer the specification and produce an equivalent or improved version. We regularly help buyers who wish to diversify their supply base or improve on their existing specification. All our reverse-engineered bags are produced to ISO 21898 as a minimum standard.
Q4: Is UN certification available for custom FIBC bags handling hazardous materials?
Yes. UN-certified FIBC bags (for hazardous goods classified under the UN Model Regulations) require a specific construction and testing protocol that differs from standard ISO 21898. We produce UN-certified bags in custom dimensions and configurations. Please specify that UN certification is required at the enquiry stage so we can include the correct testing and documentation in the quotation.
